Farmer City Heritage Days is like many other events throughout the year in Farmer City, it relies on local volunteers and community participates. From organizing the event itself, to manning individual activities, providing security, assisting with set-up and clean-up, and almost every other imaginable job, it is almost all volunteers. Even numerous vendors are residents & community organizations, selling their art or products. As you enjoy the activities and entertainment during the weekend, if you see one of our many local participates or volunteers, be sure to say Hi! We want to hear from you, what brings you to Farmer City, what do you enjoy about our event or community, or where you hail from. Ask us about our community and what makes it great!
Thank you for visiting our community! We hope to see you there!
From the Farmer City Heritage Days Committee!
We take cleanliness and hygiene seriously and we will be increasing efforts to help prevent the spread of COVID19. We’re adding hand-sanitation and portable hand washing stations throughout the festival, rigorous and frequent cleaning of highly touched surfaces and increased hygiene signage in public and volunteer areas. We’re following guidelines from the CDC on prevention and encourage our guests to do the same.
